The Department of the Army, through the DEPT OF DEFENSE’s acquisition office at W6QK ACC-APG CONT CT SW SECTOR, is seeking information from qualified sources for a Tactical Software Management System to support software management for equipment used in the field. The effort is aimed at developing a single, centralized cloud application that can track, approve, and release software updates while replacing manual email- and website-based processes. Key needs include integration with existing Army data sources, CAC authentication, workflow automation for software releases, physical media and shipment tracking, user-friendly interfaces, and metrics and reporting to improve cyber readiness and reduce operational risk. This is a sources-sought RFI, and responses are due by June 1, 2026, to inform the Army’s future acquisition strategy.
