Phosphor Imaging Screens
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Institute of Standards and Technology, through its Physical Measurement Laboratory Radioactivity Group, is seeking commercial phosphor imaging screens to support imaging of radioactive sources for radiation uniformity assessment. The requirement is for 16 new screens: 10 multipurpose screens, 3 tritium screens, and 3 super resolution screens, along with shipping and related transportation charges. The screens must be 20 cm by 25 cm, sealed in light-tight packaging, new and in original manufacturer packaging with documentation, and they must meet the minimum technical requirements in the statement of work; award is based on lowest-priced, technically acceptable quotation. Delivery is FOB Destination to NIST in Gaithersburg, Maryland, within 8 weeks after receipt of award, and quotations are due electronically by 11:00 AM Eastern Time on June 9, 2026, with an active SAM.gov registration required.
