The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point is seeking a contractor for window repairs at Building 1790 in Kapolei, Hawaii to address water intrusion. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and professional services to remove and replace caulking and sealants on the ocean-facing windows. Materials and finishes must meet current codes and industry standards, match existing colors and sheens as closely as possible, and the contractor must follow OSHA requirements, maintain an inspection system, obtain COR and Government approval for materials, and comply with security requirements including Omnivee enrollment and personnel listing. On-site performance is limited to 45 calendar days and should be scheduled to minimize disruption, generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, with bidders required to complete a site investigation; water and 120V electricity will be provided, telephone service is unavailable, and site visits can be arranged through Theresa Fasceski.
