Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Institutes of Health, on behalf of the National Institute on Aging, intends to award a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price contract to the Epigenetic Clock Development Foundation. This sole-source procurement requires the contractor to perform DNA methylation array processing and epigenetic age analysis on 320 previously extracted murine DNA samples. To evaluate biological aging trajectories across three experimental oxygen-exposure environments, the contractor will run DNA methylation profiling using the Mammal320K methylation array platform and apply established Horvath epigenetic clock algorithms. Key deliverables, including raw methylation array data, quality control documentation, and computed biological age estimates, must be completed within the six-week period of performance. Capability statements, pricing, and System for Award Management registration must be submitted electronically to Program Specialist John Johnson by September 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.
