RFI_Next-Generation Nett Warrior EUD

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by ACC-APG on behalf of Product Manager Soldier Maneuver Sensors (PdM SMS) to conduct market research for the next-generation End User Device (EUD) for the Nett Warrior (NW) system. The RFI seeks commercially available or near-production-ready handheld devices to replace the current EUD, which is an Android OS-based smartphone providing situational awareness, navigation, and communication in tactical environments. The goal is to identify hardware solutions and establish technical requirements for a planned lifecycle replacement. Integration of the new EUD is projected for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27), with fielding beginning in FY28. The RFI requests detailed technical information on connectivity, display, environmental ruggedness, security, battery life, performance, electromagnetic footprint, storage, and operating system, including adherence to MIL-STD-810H and NSA CSfC requirements. Additionally, respondents must provide proposed solutions with pictures and cost estimates for R&D (3,500 units) and fielding quantities (35,000 units), including licensing, development, and maintenance costs.
