Gimbaled High Definition Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) Sensor Replacement

The Department of Defense, specifically the Department of the Army, is seeking information from vendors regarding the replacement of Gimbaled High Definition Electro-Optic Infrared (EO/IR) Sensors to support U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) missions, as well as Force Protection and Security operations. The Request for Information (RFI) aims to identify cost-effective Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions that can facilitate both Organizational and Depot Level maintenance, with a focus on performance, lifecycle costs, and interoperability with existing systems. This initiative is critical for enhancing the capabilities of Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance Systems – Combined (BETSS-C) and Ground-Based Operational Surveillance System (Expeditionary) (G-BOSS(E)).
