Request for Information - Housing, Transportation and Parking
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Energy, through Fermilab, is seeking qualified firms to provide housing management/sourcing, transportation, and parking services for the Long-Baseline Neutrino Facility (LBNF) and Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE) in Lead, South Dakota. The project requires a comprehensive solution to accommodate approximately 10-80 personnel from early 2026 through 2031, with specific housing needs ranging from 10-20 units in the initial phase to 50-80 units during peak operations. This initiative is crucial for supporting the logistical needs of the LBNF/DUNE project, ensuring that personnel have access to fully furnished housing, reliable transportation, and adequate parking solutions within 30 miles of the Sanford Underground Research Facility. Interested firms should submit their responses to the Request for Information (RFI) by December 5, 2025, and can direct inquiries to Caroline Jones at cjones@fnal.gov or 303-916-9897, or Latasha Johnson at lbouldin@fnal.gov or 630-840-3501.
