The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is seeking an additive manufacturing system to replace an obsolete unit at its Washington, D.C. facility and support currency manufacturing needs. The work includes supplying the system, turn-key installation, comprehensive training for BEP personnel, a one-year warranty, and four one-year extended warranty options. The system is expected to meet industrial technical requirements such as a large build envelope, modular extrusion nozzles, an actively heated chamber, and compatibility with specified electrical configurations, while complying with applicable environmental, health, and safety requirements. The procurement is a total small business set-aside and is intended to result in a firm-fixed-price contract.
