The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Mechanicsburg, is soliciting offers for the procurement of shipboard links fabricated in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command drawings. Contractors must deliver these special emphasis, quality-assured components made from QQ-N-286 material, requiring quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis, ultrasonic testing on starting materials, and 100 percent dye penetrant inspection. All manufacturing and quality systems must comply with ISO-9001 standards, and slow strain rate tensile testing must be performed by an approved designated laboratory. Certification data must be submitted via Wide Area Workflow to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for review and acceptance, with final delivery of all materials required on or before 365 days after the contract effective date.
