Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Defense, through the Defense Logistics Agency Weapons Support at Tinker Air Force Base, is procuring fuel system valves under solicitation SPRTA1-26-Q-0652. The selected contractor must supply five aviation Critical Safety Item valves, designed to combine the output of two fuel pumps on turboprop engines during start-up, to support a foreign military sales acquisition for Thailand. Because these components are designated as Critical Safety Items, offerors must be approved by the design control activity, surplus materials are strictly prohibited, and quality assurance inspections will be performed at the source.
