L3Harris AN/PRC-160(V) Radio Assemblies

The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, intends to issue a sole-source contract to procure L3Harris Technologies, Inc. Radio Assemblies to refresh and upgrade existing communication systems. The contractor must deliver AN/PRC-160(V) Radio Assemblies and accessory equipment capable of providing essential communications during emergency situations. These wideband systems are required because they are the only standalone Beyond-Line-Of-Sight solution that meets all National Security Agency crypto-modernization standards, covers VHF, HF, and satellite communication, and supports both the Mobile User Objective System and the Adaptive Networking Wideband Waveform. The government plans to negotiate this firm-fixed-price award in Grassy Creek, Virginia, under the simplified procedures of FAR 12.201-1.
