Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is seeking diagnostic testing services for endemic and foreign animal diseases from National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN) approved laboratories. Contractors must provide accessible, timely, and accurate laboratory services—including culture/isolation, immunoassay, and molecular testing for livestock diseases—and maintain capacity for emergency responses. Performing laboratories must hold NAHLN approval, maintain a Quality System consistent with ISO 17025 standards, and will be evaluated on technical acceptability and fair and reasonable pricing. This five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract has a total ceiling value of $25,000,000, with questions due by July 2, 2026, and submissions handled by Stephen Tees at stephen.tees@usda.gov.
