The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential sources for window washing services at the Alexandria LA VA Medical Center. This RFI is for market research purposes only and is not a solicitation for quotes or proposals. The VA intends to issue a solicitation for 12 months of window washing services with four option years. The anticipated NAICS code is 561720 with a size standard of $22 million. This Performance Work Statement outlines the requirements for window cleaning services at the Alexandria VA Health Care System in Pineville, LA. The contractor will be responsible for providing all personnel, equipment, supplies, and supervision to clean both interior and exterior windows, including French doors, casement, double-hung, and fixed windows, as well as stained glass, sliding, and swinging doors across multiple buildings (Buildings 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 16, 45, 46, Center CT, and Connecting Corridor). Services are to be performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential work on weekends and holidays. The contractor must adhere to industry standards, safety regulations (OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and ANSI/ICWA I-14), and provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemicals used. The Government will provide utilities and facility access but no permanent workspace.
