Contract Opportunity Analysis
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Yokosuka, on behalf of the Navy, is planning a firm-fixed-price procurement for ship repair and continuous maintenance of USS MUSTIN (DDG 89) as part of its FY26 6J1 Surface Incremental Availability. The work includes repairs and maintenance tasks such as replacing non-skid systems, repairing false deck plates, chemical cleaning of the aft VCHT piping system, and providing scaffolding, crane, and rigging support for ship’s force work. Performance is expected onboard Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka in Yokosuka, Japan, and the solicitation will be limited to sources authorized to operate in Japan that hold a current USN Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair. The Navy anticipates issuing the RFP on or about 16 June 2026 through SAM.gov, and no socio-economic set-asides will be used.
