48--VALVE,FLOW CONTROL, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF

The Department of the Navy, NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia, intends to solicit a sole-source contract for the repair and modification of flow control valves used on the KC130-J aircraft system. The selected contractor will repair four flow control valves, National Stock Number 7R-4810-014833194-KB, under part number 39-819. NAVSUP WSS intends to negotiate exclusively with the original equipment manufacturer, Hydro-Aire Aerospace Corp, because the government lacks the technical drawings and data rights required to purchase these parts from alternative sources. This un-set-aside procurement carries a one-year performance period, requires FOB origin delivery, and is subject to unique item identification and Buy American Act requirements.
