The Alliance for Energy Innovation, LLC, acting on behalf of the National Laboratory of the Rockies, a U.S. Department of Energy facility, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors for the secure destruction of paper records containing Controlled Unclassified Information. The selected vendor must provide complete destruction services that render the CUI paper unreadable, indecipherable, and irrecoverable in compliance with Department of Energy and National Archives and Records Administration requirements. Key technical requirements include utilizing National Security Agency Evaluated Products List equipment to produce cross-cut shred particles measuring 1 mm by 5 mm or smaller, protecting pending materials in a locked area, and issuing certificates of destruction.
