The National Institutes of Health, on behalf of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, has issued a sources sought notice to identify qualified small businesses capable of providing a Quantom Tx Microbial Cell Counter Basic Package with consumables. The contractor will supply this automated, fluorescence-based imaging system, which includes the instrument, consumables, associated training, and warranty support to modernize and accelerate the laboratory's bacterial cell quantification workflows. This one-time supply acquisition will replace conventional, labor-intensive manual counting methods with a rapid, automated system to improve data integrity at the Durham, North Carolina facility.
