DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The National Archives and Records Administration is seeking information on a digital asset management system to support management of audiovisual and other digital assets in service of its records mission. The work centers on a commercially available software solution that can manage internal audiovisual business records and high-quality digital reproduction masters, including storage, discovery, sharing, metadata management, and records lifecycle functions. The system is expected to support upload and download of multiple file types, secure transfer, approval workflows, search, reporting, access control, audit trails, and compliance with NARA records management requirements, with minimal configuration and integration with AWS S3 buckets and Google Suite. NARA indicates current needs that include support for about 100 internal and 10 external users, migration of existing data, and performance in College Park, Maryland. Responses are due by May 1, 2026, and the listed contact is Kevin Monahan at kevin.monahan@nara.gov.
