The Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS) requires the purchase and installation of a Generac SG050NA 50 kW Stationary Outdoor Backup Generator with a transfer switch and accessories at building I10C Table Mountain Advanced Communications Test Site. This project aims to provide backup power for critical loads, ensuring operational continuity and compliance with NFPA 99 and 110 standards. The scope of work includes site preparation, concrete pad installation, generator and electrical wiring, control panel and monitoring setup, transfer switch installation, battery and heating system setup, exhaust and silencer system, alarm and remote monitoring setup, and final inspection and testing. The contractor is also responsible for asbestos and hazardous material testing and cleanup, and providing detailed reports, as-built drawings, user manuals, and testing documentation. The project has a 365-day period of performance, with the work taking place at various locations on Table Mountain, Longmont, CO.
