Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Defense, through the Army’s Medical Readiness Contracting Office-W, is seeking market research sources for a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation system in support of Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The requirement is for one MagVenture TMS Pro R30 magnetic stimulator with embedded Express TMS, accessories, and the supportive TMS Navigator TS Plus Package with Lyra Edition to replace a non-repairable and obsolete Neurostar TMS machine. The system is being evaluated against salient characteristics that include FDA-cleared use for major depressive disorder and OCD, compatibility with Localite MRI-based neuro-navigation, operation from a dedicated 110V/20 amp NEMA 5-20R circuit, and no monthly subscription or per-session operating fee. Interested parties were asked to email capability responses by 14 May 2026 at 10:00 AM CST, with an anticipated RFP posting date of 28 May 2026.
