The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) seeks an Automated Dispensing System for its Outpatient Pharmacy, replacing current equipment. This system will enhance medication management, security, and accountability for approximately 35,000 Navajo patients. The project includes procurement, delivery, and installation of hardware and software for patient medication stations, drug diversion, and inventory management. Key features required include secure storage, single-line item access, single-dose dispensing, temperature-locking for refrigerated items, Bio ID technology, and real-time integration with hospital information systems. The system must also facilitate controlled substance reconciliation, barcode scan verification, and detailed transaction processes to improve compliance and streamline documentation. The contract, a firm fixed-price for a base year and four option years (November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2030), requires the vendor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment, including dismantling and disposal of old equipment. The vendor must adhere to manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and Section 508 accessibility requirements for electronic and information technology. Additionally, the contract mandates a comprehensive maintenance plan with 24/7 technical support, on-site field service, and thorough staff training. Installation and training must be completed within six months of the contract start date, with the vendor responsible for site cleanup and damage repair. The vendor will also manage ongoing upgrades and software modifications.
