Purchase of YSI Water Level Sensors Replacement Parts

The Department of Commerce, specifically the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order for replacement parts for YSI water level sensors. The procurement is necessary to support maintenance efforts at environmental monitoring stations across various coastal regions, as YSI, Inc. is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the required replacement parts for the NOAA NILE, FMR51 design analysis radar water level sensors. These sensors are critical for operational monitoring in diverse locations, including the Atlantic Coast, Gulf of America Coast, and Great Lakes.
