FY26 Fire Suppression
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the 375th Contracting Squadron at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, is seeking a contractor for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of wet chemical fire suppression systems. The contractor must provide all labor, equipment, and materials to service 26 systems in 12 commercial cooking facilities and 17 Guardian III systems in 18 non-commercial cooking facilities. Requirements include performing semi-annual and annual maintenance, parts replacement, and hydrostatic testing in compliance with NFPA 17A, and the contractor must hold certifications to service Ansul, Pyro Chem, and Guardian III systems. This total small business set-aside is structured as a hybrid contract with a base year plus four option years, and proposals will be evaluated using a best-value tradeoff process where past performance is the most critical factor. Quotes must be submitted electronically to primary contact Bryan Moore at bryan.moore.15@us.af.mil by the extended deadline of July 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM CST.
