Digital Agriculture Data Purchase and Specialty Crops Survey
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Research Service, on behalf of the Economic Research Service, is seeking a contractor for the Digital Ag Benefits to US Farmers Project. The contractor must purchase a 2019 to 2021 historical dataset on digital technology adoption in U.S. field crops and collaborate with the agency to design, pre-test, and administer a new online and telephone survey of approximately 1,000 U.S. specialty crop producers. This effort requires representative stratified sampling, constructing statistical weights, and hosting all data collection on a FedRAMP-certified server, preferably Qualtrics XM. Performance will take place under a firm-fixed-price contract with a two-year period of performance ending September 30, 2028. This total small business set-aside opportunity requires electronic submission of quotes and questions to Amber Sampson at amber.sampson@usda.gov, with inquiries due at least five days before the quote deadline.
