U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Air and Marine Contracting Division, within the Department of Homeland Security, is conducting a sources-sought market research effort for body-worn cameras and associated hardware and software to support incident-driven video recording needs across DHS components. The scope includes body-worn cameras, vehicle- and vessel-mounted cameras, docking stations, digital evidence management software, cloud storage, and related supporting technologies. Key technical context includes FIPS 140-3 compliance at levels 2 or 3, FedRAMP-authorized cloud capabilities, interoperability, secure data transition, and estimated data transfer volumes ranging from 200 TB to 850 TB.
