Preventive maintenance-repair service for Thermo Orbitrap Exploris MS instrument

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), on behalf of the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR), Division of Systems Biology (DSB), has issued a Sources Sought Notice (SSN) to identify small business sources capable of providing preventive maintenance and repair (PM/R) services for a Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Exploris MS system (S/N: MM10285C) and its associated components (Vanquish Split Sampler FT, S/N: 8330951; Vanquish Binary Pump, S/N: 8330828). This system is crucial for lipidomics and metabolomics analysis at NCTR. The requirement is for a base year and two option periods, with the current coverage extending through August 27, 2026. Services must include annual on-site preventive maintenance, priority technical support, discounts on corrective maintenance, remote diagnosis, access to the manufacturer’s call center, software/firmware updates, and services performed by certified technicians using OEM parts. Responses, including capability statements, past performance, and informational pricing, are due via email by March 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM Central Time.
