CODIS Phase III (Specialized Forensics IT Equipment)

The Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs is procuring specialized forensics IT equipment to support the Government of Mexico's National Genetics Database and Combined DNA Index System. Under this contract, the selected vendor will deliver and donate specialized IT forensic equipment to eight Mexican state Attorney General Offices. This procurement represents the third and final phase of the initiative, aimed at expanding the national genetics database to cover 29 of Mexico's 32 states and enhancing the collection and analysis of genetic evidence. The place of performance is Mexico, and the acquisition is set aside entirely for small businesses under NAICS code 541519.
