4200 TapeStation System
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the National Institutes of Health, intends to award a non-competitive, firm-fixed-price contract for an Agilent 4200 TapeStation System. This procurement requires the delivery of an automated instrument, laptop PC, software, accessories, consumables, installation, and a warranty and maintenance agreement to perform gel electrophoresis to assess nucleic acid sample integrity. The equipment will support the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Genomics Core in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, and while currently planned as a sole-source award, the government is researching alternative brands capable of meeting the requirements.
