UCHICAGO ARGONNE, LLC, operator of Argonne National Laboratory for the Department of Energy, is seeking quotations for a programmable DC power supply and associated shipping. The requirement is for a 3000-ampere DC power supply for a rare earth electrowinning cell, with the related statement of work calling for a unit capable of delivering over 3000 amperes at 32 volts and supporting the laboratory’s operating setup. The supply must meet specified technical and safety requirements, including current- and voltage-limiting modes, manual controls with current and voltage displays, 4-20mA outputs for data logging, CE or UL compliance, a one-year warranty, NIST traceable calibration, and a 4-6 week lead time, with place of performance in Lemont, Illinois.
