TransMagic Renewal Intent To Award Sole Source

The United States Air Force Sensors Directorate (AFRL/STO) has issued a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Synopsys. The contract is for a 12-month Annual Maintenance Renewal (AMR) of TransMagic software, which works alongside the Air Force's existing software suite, including Altair-HyperWorks, ANSYS-HFSS, and Intel Parallel Cluster XE. The requirement covers three perpetual network licenses with an expiration date of July 31, 2027. While this notice is not a request for competitive quotes, interested responsible sources may submit capability statements to help the government determine whether to pursue a full and open competition or a small business set-aside. Interested contractors must submit unclassified responses up to 10 pages in Microsoft Word format, demonstrating how their product meets the specified requirements and providing company contact info, business size, socioeconomic status, and CAGE code/DUNS number. Responses must be emailed to Ja’Quan Dangerfield at jaquan.dangerfield@us.af.mil by November 5, 2026, at 10:00 PM EDT. The government retains sole discretion over whether to compete the requirement.
