Special Mission Variant (SMV)
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Air Force, through AFLCMC/WIS and AFLCMC/WIU, is seeking support for Special Mission Variant fleets and intends to award a sole-source contract to Lockheed Martin Aeronautics for that purpose. The work covers integrated services to plan, execute, and deliver capability modifications, along with engineering, logistics, and analytical support for AC/HC/MC-130J aircraft requirements originating from Wright-Patterson and Robins AFBs. The contemplated award is a six-year ID/IQ with a six-month option, with periods of performance defined by individual orders, anticipated to begin in FY27 and end in FY32, and performance associated with Marietta, Georgia. This is a sources sought notice rather than a request for competitive proposals, and any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation by the date and time listed on the notice; inquiries may be sent to Stephanie English or Samantha Kirk by email.
