Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Los Angeles District, is seeking proposals to design and construct a new Communications Headquarters Facility at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. The scope of work involves building a 45,025-square-foot facility utilizing a reinforced concrete foundation, structural steel frame, and a 500KW generator, alongside all necessary supporting utilities, pavements, and site improvements. A portion of the facility must comply with Intelligence Community Directive 705 standards, and the entire structure must meet Department of Defense antiterrorism/force protection requirements. This unrestricted solicitation is a one-step, best-value trade-off procurement that will result in a firm-fixed-price contract with specific small business subcontracting goals.
