W9123726QA100 - Bulkhead Crane Bus Rails Replacement at Captain Anthony Meldahl Locks and Dam

The Department of the Army, US Army Corps of Engineers Huntington District, has issued a solicitation to replace the bulkhead crane bus rails at the Captain Anthony Meldahl Locks and Dam. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing bulkhead crane bus rail system and install a new four-bar, 500-amp aluminum bus rail system with associated hardware, eight new collector shoes, and electrical expansion couplings. Additionally, the scope requires repairing or replacing approximately 50 percent of the existing protective bus rail covers and modifying them as necessary to ensure complete coverage. The work will be performed at the Captain Anthony Meldahl Locks and Dam in Felicity, Ohio, and requires installing approximately 1,400 feet per bar of three-phase, 480V power with ground.
