Contract Opportunity Analysis

The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center is seeking a contractor for the installation of the shaft seal on the United States Coast Guard Cutter Manatee. The required scope of work involves providing a Chesterton seal system-certified Original Equipment Manufacturer Technical Representative to advise on proprietary system information and assist with the disassembly, reassembly, and installation of the vessel's shaft seals. Utilizing government-furnished equipment and rebuild kits, the contractor will rebuild the mechanical and inflatable shaft seals in accordance with Coast Guard Technical Publication 4499.
