Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Geological Survey is seeking a contractor to establish a Blanket Purchase Agreement for amplicon and metagenomic sequencing services to support microbiology research at the Michigan Bacteriological Research Laboratory. The selected contractor will perform library preparation, quality control checks, and sequencing analysis using Illumina MiSeq or AVITI platforms, and must deliver demultiplexed raw sequencing data and methodological documentation. Work will be delivered to the Upper Midwest Water Science Center in Lansing, Michigan, under a five-year period of performance scheduled from September 17, 2026, through September 16, 2031.
