Contract Opportunity Analysis
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District is seeking sources for a project to install an Automated Data Acquisition System at the John H. Kerr Dam in Boydton, Virginia. Work will require acquiring automated data acquisition system components, trenching approximately 843 linear feet of shallow embankment for conduit-encased instrumentation cable, assembling 33 wireless remote input/output units on steel support poles, installing 37 vibrating wire transducers, and installing a wireless base station with a power supply. The project has an expected period of performance of 180 calendar days and will result in a firm-fixed-price contract. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000, and the solicitation is anticipated to be issued as a 100 percent small business set-aside on or about September 30, 2026.
