ATR-72-600 Twin-Engine Turbine Powered Passenger/Cargo Aircraft

The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) requires a new or used commercially available ATR-72-600 Twin-Engine Turbine Powered Passenger/Cargo Aircraft. This aircraft will serve as a multi-role passenger/cargo/special mission platform for domestic and foreign deployment, supporting the enforcement of U.S. controlled substances laws. Key requirements include FAA certification under FAR Part 25, a minimum seating capacity for 4 crew and 68 passengers, a cargo door, and a reconfigurable interior to accommodate at least 36 passengers and 6,600 pounds of cargo. Performance specifications include an 800 Nm range, 260 KTAS speed, 25,000 feet service ceiling, and 15,000 lbs payload. The aircraft must be equipped with FAA-certified IFR avionics with VNAV and LPV capabilities, including specific communication and navigation equipment. New aircraft should have no more than 100 flight hours, while used aircraft must be from 2018 or newer, with under 15,000 total airframe hours and no significant damage history. Both must be in airworthy condition, with maintenance life precluding major service for three years or 2,500 hours. The contractor must provide technical publications and designate a single point of contact. Delivery is expected within 18 months of contract award.

Interested vendors are requested to submit a technical description of their capabilities, including a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing and estimated delivery date, based on the attached draft Statement of Work (SOW).
