Constant Systems CF1 Cell Disruptor and associated components

This is a Small Business Sources Sought Notice (No. PCA-NIEHS-04997) issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) on behalf of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). The agency is seeking capability statements from qualified small businesses to provide a replacement Constant Systems CF1 Cell Disruptor and associated components, including a trolley, chiller assembly, and annual maintenance plan. The equipment is required by the NIEHS Nucleolar Integrity Group to support its research in structural, molecular, and cellular biology. The group routinely processes large volumes of recombinant bacterial cultures to purify proteins. The Constant Systems CF1 system is selected to maintain compatibility with the laboratory’s existing accessories, established workflows, and electrical infrastructure, thereby avoiding costly facility modifications. Key required capabilities of the system include a processing capacity of up to 6 liters per hour, digital pressure adjustments up to 40 ksi, an integrated sample cooling jacket, and operation without compressed air. This market research is intended to help the government determine the feasibility of a small business set-aside for a future firm-fixed-price contract. Capability statements must not exceed seven pages and should include company details, business size, technical staff qualifications, and relevant experience.
