The Department of Health and Human Services, National Institutes of Health, is seeking sources to provide a replacement Constant Systems CF1 Cell Disruptor and associated components for the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Durham, North Carolina. The selected vendor must deliver the cell disruptor along with a trolley, chiller assembly, and an annual maintenance plan to support research in structural, molecular, and cellular biology. Key technical requirements include a processing capacity of up to 6 liters per hour, digital pressure adjustments up to 40 ksi, an integrated sample cooling jacket, and operation without compressed air. This market research will help the government determine the feasibility of a small business set-aside for a future firm-fixed-price contract.
