Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation at Oklahoma City has issued a solicitation to procure newly manufactured aircraft fuel tanks. Contractors must supply 445 bladder/container units across seven distinct line items, with an additional surge option for a eighth line item that requires a Production Surge Plan if exercised. Because the government does not own the technical data rights, offerors must secure explicit distribution or manufacturing permission from the Original Equipment Manufacturer and hold Export Controlled certification. Deliveries are routed to the DLA Distribution Depot Oklahoma, and the contract requires compliance with higher-level quality standards such as ISO 9001-2015 or AS9100.
