Las Cruces Facility Sediment Disposal in the Rio Grande Canalization Project

The International Boundary and Water Commission is seeking a small business contractor to perform sediment removal and disposal services for the Rio Grande Canalization Project in Doña Ana County, New Mexico. The contractor must load stockpiled sediment from the Hershey Arroyo and Rincon Syphon locations, haul the material to the Angostura Gravel Pit, and spread and level the material. Work is restricted to standard facility working hours, and the contractor must complete the project within six months of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must demonstrate minimum qualification standards by showing that both the bidding contractor and the project superintendent have successfully completed at least two similar projects within the past 10 years. Proposals must be submitted to the primary contact, Seone Michael Jones, by the extended deadline of September 14, 2026, at 3:00 PM Mountain Time.
