Army Materiel Command Small Uncrewed Aircraft System (SUAS) Manufacturing Advisory Assistant

The Army Materiel Command (AMC) has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify firms capable of establishing Small Uncrewed Aircraft System (SUAS) component manufacturing facilities within government sites. The AMC seeks a technical development firm with expertise in advanced manufacturing, digital integration, and cybersecurity to deliver fully operational factories. These facilities aim to produce 120,000 SUAS units by 2026 and up to 1,000,000 units by 2030, including components like airframes, circuit card assemblies, and batteries. A critical requirement is integrating robust cybersecurity measures aligned with Department of Defense (DoD) standards, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST-Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification. The selected firm will be responsible for facility design, equipment selection and installation, process engineering, and workforce training. This RFI is for market research only and does not constitute a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. Responses will inform future procurement methods, potentially including small business set-asides. Interested businesses must submit capability statements by October 1, 2025.
