PBCU Operational Support Services 2026

The Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response, is seeking sources to provide operational support services for Portable Biocontainment Units in response to highly contagious infectious diseases. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining, sustaining, deploying, demobilizing, exercising, and training on these units, as well as providing overall program management support. Key technical requirements include preparing units for domestic and international transport, siting and operating them in austere environments, and maintaining complex mechanical systems like HVAC, rechargeable batteries, and negative pressure systems.
