The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a small-business contractor to provide inspection, testing, and maintenance services for fire suppression systems at Defense Supply Center Richmond. The work covers multiple buildings at the Richmond, Virginia installation, excluding buildings 31 and 47, and includes tasks such as internal sprinkler piping inspections, hydrostatic testing, gauge replacement, fire pump inspections, documentation, and restoring systems to full operational status. The contract is planned as a firm-fixed-price award with a 180-day period of performance from notice to proceed, and technical acceptability will focus on the statement of work, past performance, and compliance with code and security requirements, including UFC 3-601-02, a quality control plan, five years of similar experience, and NICET Level II for lead technicians.
