Contract Opportunity Analysis

The U.S. Coast Guard Operational Logistics Command intends to procure a modified 24-foot new standard non-ISO shipping container to support Port Security Unit 311 Engineering Division operations in San Pedro, California. The contractor must perform custom modifications to deliver a secure, climate-controlled shoreside engineering office and tool repository outfitted with wood stud framing, fiberglass insulation, fiber-reinforced plastic panels, a mini-split HVAC system, an electrical package, and heavy-duty shelving. Delivery must be completed within 60 to 90 days of contract award via a tilt-bed ground vehicle, and final acceptance is subject to a physical and operational inspection. This 100 percent small business set-aside will be awarded on a lowest price technically acceptable basis. Quotes are due by September 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM Pacific Time and must be submitted electronically to Contracting Officer Terry Craft.
