Overhaul (soft kits only) and testing of Marotta valves

This Statement of Work (SOW) outlines the requirements for overhauling and testing nine Marotta valves from the USS Sullivans DDG 68. The contractor must provide all labor, facilities, equipment, and OEM materials to return seven RM11HB-6B and two RM11MA valves to fully mission-capable status. The repairs are necessary due to manifold malfunctions impacting Gas Turbine Engines and exceeding Planned Maintenance Periodicity. The scope includes preliminary inspection, disassembly, cleaning, replacement of all soft parts with OEM materials, and comprehensive testing. If hard part repairs are needed, a Condition Found Report (CFR) and revised quote are required within five business days. Reassembled valves will be rigorously tested, tagged with test pressure, date, part, and serial numbers, and returned to the government. Deliverables include the CFR, the overhauled valves, and test reports with a Certificate of Conformance (CoC). The work will be performed off-site at Moody Marine Services with a turnaround time of 15-30 days for simultaneous receipt or 30-45 days ARO for staggered receipt. Packaging must comply with MIL-STD-2073-1, and the contractor is responsible for return shipping. A Quality Management System is required, and payment will be via Electronic Funds Transfer.
