The U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt, under the Department of State, is seeking offers for the purchase of two compact passenger vans. The contractor must supply two plug-in hybrid vehicles, such as a BMW 2 Active Tourer or Mercedes-Benz B-Class, to be used primarily for passenger transportation and occasionally for cargo. To meet technical requirements, the vehicles must feature an automatic transmission, a minimum output of 160 kW, a total driving range of at least 400 km with a minimum electric-only range of 80 km, and meet all relevant German and EU specifications. Delivery must be made on a Delivered Duty Paid basis to the consulate in Frankfurt, Germany, within 120 days of order receipt. Offers must be submitted via email to GSO Procurement at Einkauf@state.gov no later than 16:00 hours on Friday, July 31, 2026.
