Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Interior National Park Service is seeking solid waste removal services for Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing, maintaining, swapping, and emptying one six-cubic-yard dumpster once per week. Work must occur during weekday operating hours and requires strict adherence to park biosecurity measures, such as vehicle pressure washing to prevent the introduction of invasive species. The contract is a total small business set-aside with an anticipated firm-fixed-price structure consisting of a one-year base period starting on or before June 1, 2026, and four consecutive one-year option periods.
