The Department of Defense, through the Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support activity, is soliciting silver brazing alloy for use in a critical shipboard system. The work calls for furnishing brazing alloy that meets QQ-B-654 requirements, specifically class BCuP-5 in strip form, along with the required certification, traceability, packaging, and quality documentation. The requirement is treated as special emphasis material with strict quality assurance controls, including ISO-9001-based quality system expectations, chemical analysis and material certification, government inspection at destination, and government-furnished refined silver.
