Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Operational Technology Division is seeking a contractor to provide tower and antenna installation services at three southern Texas border sites, including the Olmito Tower in Los Fresnos, the Santa Maria Tower in La Feria, and the Flamingo Tower in McAllen. The core scope of work involves installing active antennas, routing fiber optic and coaxial cables, aligning dishes, and performing ground upgrades such as equipment rack installation and electrical modifications. To qualify, offerors must possess at least two years of relevant experience and hold certifications as a Motorola R56 Installer, Competent Rigger, and Competent/Authorized Tower Climber. This total small business set-aside opportunity will be evaluated using a Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology, with a performance period of 180 days from the date of award.
