Stress Vests and Related Training Aids
Contract Opportunity Analysis
The Department of the Army, on behalf of the Maine Air National Guard Contracting Office, intends to award a sole-source contract to Setcan Corporation for the procurement of StressVests and related training aids. The scope of work requires providing StressVest brand non-projectile firearm tactical training system equipment that is fully compatible with the existing training systems used by the 101st Security Forces Squadron. This acquisition is justified because the unit has a significant four-year investment in the Setcan system, and transitioning to an alternative platform would result in substantial cost duplication. The place of performance is Bangor, Maine, and written inquiries or evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government must be directed to Daniel A. Boone, Jr. at daniel.boone.5@us.af.mil.
